Smoked mussels make the best pate, perfect for toast or platter with crackers. It's super easy to make, just fire all the ingredients into the blender and blitz!
Ingredients:
- 1 Packet of Blackbeards Natural smoked mussels, drained. Purchase here
- 200g cream cheese
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tblsp of sundried tomatoes (optional but worth it!) plus a dash of the oil.
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Crackers or toasted bread, for serving
Instructions:
- In a food processor, blend smoked mussels, cream cheese, lemon juice, and smoked paprika, sundried tomatoes and onion powder until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with crackers or toasted bread
