Smoked Mussel Pate

Smoked mussels make the best pate, perfect for toast or platter with crackers. It's super easy to make, just fire all the ingredients into the blender and blitz!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Packet of Blackbeards Natural smoked mussels, drained. Purchase here
  • 200g cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tblsp of sundried tomatoes (optional but worth it!) plus a dash of the oil.
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crackers or toasted bread, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, blend smoked mussels, cream cheese, lemon juice, and smoked paprika, sundried tomatoes and onion powder until smooth.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve with crackers or toasted bread
